Year 11 Biggest Morning Tea
As part of the year 11 Personal Development Unit, students participated in running The Biggest Morning Tea with the Hills Church Op Shop in Ferntree Gully on Thursday the 30th of May.
Students broke into small groups and chose a special dish to make. We had lots of yummy food on offer including brownies, cake pops, choc chip cookies, bacon and egg quiches, rocky road, herb scones, kingston biscuits, chocolate mousse, vegemite scrolls and choc-banana bread.
Students worked on a roster where they served cakes or hot beverages to the local community. They enjoyed chatting with the locals and basking in the positive feedback about how delicious their treats were.
We raised a total of $433 which was a wonderful effort, which was all donated to the Cancer Council.
